Mirza Abbas Travels to Malaysia Again for Health Check-Up

BNP Standing Committee member and Political Advisor to the Prime Minister Mirza Abbas has left Dhaka for Malaysia for a routine health check-up and medical treatment. He departed on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight around 11:45 AM on Wednesday (September 16), accompanied by his wife, Afroza Abbas.
BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter, stating that Mirza Abbas is visiting Malaysia for routine medical examinations. The BNP has requested prayers from everyone for his well-being.
Earlier, Mirza Abbas spent an extended period in Singapore and Malaysia for medical care. He returned home on the night of September 2 following over five months of treatment and rehabilitation. Upon his return, he resumed work at his office in parliament and visited the Dhaka Medical College Hospital on September 14.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Mirza Abbas is currently serving as the Political Advisor to the Prime Minister with the status of a minister. He is also the Member of Parliament for the Dhaka-8 constituency. In March, Mirza Abbas was admitted to Singapore General Hospital after falling seriously ill and was subsequently provided with advanced medical treatment in Singapore and Malaysia.
