Question: I usually keep my eyes closed for most of the time while performing fard and Sunnah prayers. It helps me concentrate better. Is this correct?
Answer: Keeping the eyes closed is not the proper way to improve concentration during prayer. Try to focus while keeping your eyes open, as keeping the eyes open during prayer is also a Sunnah practice. Performing the entire prayer with the eyes closed goes against the Sunnah.
