Regarding Praying Before the Prescribed Time and Making Up Missed Prayers

Question: If someone mistakenly performs a prayer before its prescribed time begins, must they perform it again? If someone cannot perform prayers due to unavoidable circumstances, can they make up all the missed prayers together later? Will this reduce the reward?

Answer: One of the essential conditions for a prayer to be valid is that its prescribed time has begun. A prayer performed before its time is invalid and must be repeated. Multiple prayers cannot simply be combined at a later time; they become missed prayers that must be made up. Missing prayers without a valid reason is a serious sin. Although the prayer performed later will count as a make-up prayer, the person will still be sinful for missing it without justification. Making a habit of this can carry the same sin as neglecting prayer altogether.
