Remembering Allah Is a Key Way to Spiritual Growth and Peace: Pir Saheb of Sarsina

Amir-e-Hizbullah and Pir Saheb of Sarsina Darbar Sharif, Alhaj Hazrat Maulana Mufti Shah Abu Nasar Nesaruddin Ahmad Hussain (Ma.Ji.A.), has said that remembering Allah is a key way for a believer to grow spiritually, find peace of heart and purify the soul. Through Zikr, people stay focused on the remembrance of Allah. It also inspires them to build piety, good morals and good character. So he stressed keeping the remembrance of Allah alive in every part of life and acting to earn His pleasure.
The Pir Saheb Kebla said this on Thursday, October 22, at the historic Taherpur Eidgah Maidan in Sonargaon Upazila of Narayanganj district. The gathering ran from after Asr prayer until late at night. It was held in memory of the late Pir Saheb of Sarsina Sharif, Bahre Shariat, Mujaddide Zaman Alhaj Hazrat Maulana Shah Sufi Mohammad Mohebbullah (Rah.). It was also the 10th annual Isal-e-Sawab Dua Mahfil of the madrasa and the turban ceremony for Hafez students.
The Pir Saheb Kebla also said that Zikr is not only saying the name of Allah with the tongue. It means holding His remembrance in the heart, following His guidance and living by it in every part of life. He said that following this teaching, with regular Zikr, worship, self purification and good deeds, can bring positive change to personal and social life.
The Mahfil was led by Alhaj Mr. Md. Sirajul Haque Sarkar, president of the Sonargaon Upazila Jamiyat-e-Hizbullah. It was organised by the Sonargaon Upazila branches of Bangladesh Jamiyat-e-Hizbullah, Aimma-e-Hizbullah, Juba Hizbullah and Chhatra Hizbullah, along with local people. Others who spoke included Maulana Md. Hemayet bin Taiyeb, organising secretary of Bangladesh Jamiyat-e-Hizbullah, and Maulana Md. Mamunul Haque, deputy principal of Sarsina Darussunnat Jamia Nesaria Diniya. Maulana Md. Mohebbullah Al Mahmud, a travel companion of the Pir Saheb Kebla, also spoke.
