Can the Perpetrators of Kabirah Sins Attain Salvation from Jahannam?
Question: I have heard that anyone who commits a kabirah sin will remain in Jahannam forever. Is this true?
Answer: No, this is not correct. Allah Almighty will punish those among the sinful believers whom He wills in Jahannam according to their sins. He will then bring them out of Jahannam.
As the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“When the people of Paradise enter Paradise and the people of Jahannam enter Jahannam, Allah will say, ‘Bring out whoever has faith in their heart equal to the weight of a mustard seed.’ They will then be brought out, having been burned until they have become like charcoal. They will be placed in the River of Life, where they will revive and flourish, just as fresh plants grow amid accumulated debris along a riverbank.” (Hadith)
