Prime Minister Visits the Shrine of Khan Jahan Ali (RA)

Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman visited the shrine of Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali (RA) in Bagerhat. On Thursday (5 November), after finishing his planned program at Mongla Port, he went to the shrine in Bagerhat.

At the shrine, the Prime Minister paid his respects and joined the prayers and munajat.

Earlier, on the way to the shrine, the Prime Minister spoke at a street meeting held at Katakhali Mor. The meeting took place at 12:30 pm on Thursday (5 November) at Katakhali Mor on the Khulna-Mongla highway.

Earlier in the morning, the Prime Minister attended a signing ceremony in Mongla for a Memorandum of Understanding on economic and infrastructure cooperation between Invest Bangladesh and China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC). He then laid the foundation stone of the Mongla Port expansion and modernization project.

After the street meeting, the Prime Minister was scheduled to visit the shrine of Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali (RA). He is then due to attend the opening ceremony of Notun Kuri Sports (Season 2) in Khulna.
