Biman Resumes Dammam Flights from November 7, Riyadh Route Suspended

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has revised its flight operations in view of security concerns following recent airstrikes in Saudi Arabia. Regular flights on the Dhaka-Dammam-Dhaka route will resume from November 7. However, flights on the Dhaka-Riyadh-Dhaka route will remain suspended until further notice due to a shortage of passengers.

The information was announced in a press release issued by Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Tuesday (November 3).

According to the press release, considering passenger safety and the overall situation, daily daytime flights on the Dammam route will operate from November 7. The decision will remain in effect until further notice.

Meanwhile, there is insufficient passenger demand on the Riyadh route as a significant number of passengers travelling to Riyadh are reaching Saudi Arabia through alternative routes. Consequently, Biman has decided to suspend flights on the Dhaka-Riyadh-Dhaka route for the time being.

Passengers have been requested to contact their nearest Biman Bangladesh Airlines sales centre for ticketing and travel-related information.
