Pir Saheb of Chhar Chhina Strongly Condemns Attempted Drone Attacks on Makkah and Madinah
Chhar Chhina Darbar Sharif Pir Saheb Alhaj Hazrat Maulana Shah Abu Nasr Nesaruddin Ahmad Hossain (M.Z.A.) has expressed deep concern, anger and strong condemnation over attempts to carry out drone attacks targeting the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.
In a statement, he said, “The Holy Kaaba in Makkah and the Rawza Mubarak in Madinah are the centers of faith and love for the entire Muslim Ummah. Therefore, any threat to the security and sanctity of these two holy cities is highly condemnable. We strongly condemn such disgraceful acts.”
He said, “Political or military disputes can never be resolved through attacks, retaliation and destruction. Dialogue, diplomatic initiatives and peaceful settlements must be pursued to resolve disputes. It is in no way acceptable to turn Makkah, Madinah or the territory of Saudi Arabia into a battleground.”
The Pir Saheb of Chhar Chhina further said, “The Haramain Sharifain does not belong to any particular group, ideology or sect; it is a sacred trust of the entire Muslim Ummah. Muslims must unite beyond political and sectarian differences to protect its honour, sanctity and dignity. Respecting the sovereignty and security of Saudi Arabia, it is our moral responsibility to stand by and cooperate with the Saudi leadership in ensuring the security of the Haramain Sharifain.”
He called on all Muslim countries belonging to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League to unite and take the initiative to establish a “Haramain Sharifain Security Council” to further strengthen the security of the Haramain Sharifain.
At the end of the statement, he offered special prayers to Almighty Allah for the security, peace and well-being of Makkah, Madinah, the Haramain Sharifain, Saudi Arabia and the entire Muslim Ummah. Ameen.
