Regarding Sleeping While Listening to Quran Recitation Through Headphones

Question: I sometimes fall asleep while listening to Quran recitation on my mobile phone or through headphones. In such a situation, does this amount to any disrespect to the Quran or involve any other mistake?
Answer: The recitation should be stopped when you are about to fall asleep. If the recitation continues even after you have fallen asleep, it is a sign of negligence towards the Quran. Doing so is against proper etiquette.
