40,084 Students Secure GPA-5 in HSC Exams

The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations have been published, with 40,084 students securing a GPA of 5.00. The pass rate stands at 51.12%.

Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon inaugurated the result publication at an event at the Education Ministry’s conference room at the Secretariat on Saturday.

The results were made available simultaneously online and through educational institutions immediately after the announcement, ending the two-and-a-half-month wait for 1,270,583 candidates under the country’s 11 education boards.

The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee said educational institutions and candidates could access the results online. Institutions can download their result sheets, while candidates can also check their results through SMS.

Educational institutions must collect the results published by the respective boards through the websites eduboardresults.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd. They have been advised to visit the results section of either website, select the relevant board and enter their institution’s EIIN to download and publish the results.

Candidates can collect their results from their respective educational institutions or access them through the common education board websites and the websites of the respective boards.

Candidates can also check their results by sending an SMS from any mobile phone number to 16140. To receive the results, they must type HSC, followed by a space, the first three letters of the board’s name, another space, the roll number, another space and the examination year, and send the message to 16140.

For example, a candidate from the Dhaka Board should type HSC Dha 123456 2026 and send it to 16140.

The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee further said that examination results would not be available at education boards, the Education Ministry or newspaper offices.

Applications for re-scrutiny of results will be accepted online from November 1 to 7. The application process and relevant instructions have been published on the education boards’ websites.
