Should a Resident of Dhaka Offer Shortened Prayers When Staying for Fewer Than 15 Days?

Question: A religious scholar works at a madrasa in Dhaka and lives in its residential facilities. His permanent home is in Barishal. When travelling from Barishal to Dhaka, he intends to stay in Dhaka for three days before returning to Barishal. Should he offer shortened prayers (qasr) or full prayers during his stay in Dhaka?
Answer: In this case, he should offer full prayers. Barishal is his original home (watan asli), while the madrasa in Dhaka, where he works, is his place of residence (watan iqamah). Therefore, he is considered a resident (muqim) in Dhaka.
