Eight year old Mugdho becomes a Hafez of the Holy Quran in just 11 months

Eight year old Ramin Nawaf Mugdho has memorised the whole Holy Quran Majid in just 11 months in Mirsarai. He is 8 years and 3 months old. Mugdho studies in the Hifzul Quran section of Darul Quran Madrasa and Orphanage in the East Govoniya area of Ward 3 in Mirsarai Municipality. He finished his Hifz yesterday.

Mugdho is the only son of Mr. Masudul Islam Majumder and Ms. Rabeya Akter. They come from North Kuhoma village in Chhagalnaiya Upazila of Feni District. His mother is a lecturer in the Department of Islamic History and Culture at Mirsarai College. Because of her job, Mugdho and his family have lived in Mirsarai Sadar for a long time.

The madrasa said Mugdho joined the Hifz section of Darul Quran Madrasa last November. He worked hard every day, and his teachers helped him with great care. His parents also tried tirelessly. With all this support, he finished the full Quran in only 11 months.

Mugdho recited his Sabak to his teachers every day. Some days he recited 4 to 5 pages, and at times he recited 5 to 7 pages. His teachers were amazed at his rare talent and hard work at such a young age.

Mugdho’s father, Mr. Masudul Islam Majumder, said his son has wanted to become the Imam of the Kaaba since childhood. He said, “We told him that, Insha Allah, he will surely become an Imam one day if Allah accepts. Alhamdulillah, he became a Hafez of the Holy Quran at just 8 years of age. We will always give him full support to achieve his dream.”

Mr. Abu Naser Mohammad Yusuf is the Muhtamim of Darul Quran Madrasa and Orphanage. He said Mugdho finished the Hifz of the Holy Quran in just 11 months through steady effort, the hard work of his teachers and the support of his parents. He called it truly rare to finish Hifz in such a short time. He said Mugdho recited up to 5 to 7 pages of Sabak every day, and he asked everyone to pray for Mugdho’s bright future and success.

Mugdho’s success has brought joy to his family, teachers and well wishers. They have asked everyone to pray for his success in life and for his dream to come true.
