Call all the police and arrest us: Rahul Gandhi’s warning to Modi

Mr. Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in India’s Lok Sabha and a Congress Member of Parliament, has sent a sharp warning to Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. He strongly urged young people to keep up their protests and movement. He said the government cannot stop this movement, even with its use of repression.

In a recent post on X, Mr. Rahul Gandhi launched a fierce attack on the Narendra Modi government. He wrote, “Mr. Modi, do whatever you want. Call all the police: 10,000, 20,000, 50,000, whatever you wish. Arrest all the leaders. Arrest all the young people. Arrest all of us.”

The Congress leader made his stand against the government clear. He said he has been fighting Mr. Narendra Modi and the RSS for more than a decade. He said he knows them far more deeply than Mr. Modi or his allies understand their opponents. He said he knows them like the palm of his hand. He said the main feature of this ruling group is “cowardice.”

At the end of his post, Mr. Rahul Gandhi named Mr. Narendra Modi, Mr. Amit Shah, Mr. Mohan Bhagwat, Mr. Gyanesh Kumar and Mr. Ajit Doval. He said the people tied to this political and administrative system are slowly seeing their circle and safe space getting smaller. He roared that the opposition is making this space even smaller.
