Biman flights to Dammam and Riyadh suspended until November 4

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has extended the suspension of all flights from Dhaka to Dammam and Riyadh until early next month. It took this step because of the ongoing attacks on airports in Saudi Arabia.
The airline made this known today in a press notice.
The notice said the airline extended the suspension on the Dhaka to Dammam and Dhaka to Riyadh routes for the safety of passengers. In urgent cases, passengers can travel to and from Saudi Arabia through Jeddah and Madinah international airports.
Biman has run two flights a day on the Dhaka to Jeddah route since earlier this month, considering passenger demand. This will continue until early next month. On the Dhaka to Madinah route, Biman is running regular flights with Boeing 787 aircraft.
The notice said the airline will announce further decisions and schedules on flights in due time. It asked passengers to contact the nearest Biman Bangladesh Airlines sales centre for ticket and travel information.
