HSC Results Likely Between October 25 and 29

This year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examination results are likely to be published between October 25 and 29. The evaluation of examination papers is being expedited to meet the expected timeline.

Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, shared the information with the media on Monday night (October 12).

He said the results could be published on any day between October 25 and 29. A proposal outlining the possible publication dates has been sent to the Ministry of Education. However, the final date has not yet been set. Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman said the date would be confirmed after the ministry makes its decision.

This year’s HSC and equivalent examinations began on July 2 and ended on August 8. However, flooding prevented the Chittagong Education Board from holding written examinations in several subjects as scheduled. After the postponed examinations were held, the board completed its written examinations on September 9.

A total of 1,270,583 students from 9,439 educational institutions took part in this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations under 11 education boards across the country.
