Bangladesh Walks Out During Israeli President’s Address

The Bangladeshi delegation, led by State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir, walked out during the address of the Israeli President at the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), currently taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan.

This was confirmed in a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday, October 15. According to the release, along with the Bangladeshi delegation, representatives from several other countries also boycotted the speech and immediately left the summit hall during the Israeli President’s address.
