National Imam Conference to Be Held in Dhaka on Saturday

The Central Council and National Imam Conference of the Bangladesh National Imam Samiti will be held next Saturday at 11 am. The venue is the auditorium of the Islamic Foundation head office in Agargaon. Maulana Qazi Abu Horaira, president of the National Imam Samiti, will give the welcome speech.

Religious Affairs Minister Mr. Qazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad will speak as the chief guest. Mr. A M M Bahauddin will speak as a special guest. He is the editor of Daily Inqilab and the president of Bangladesh Jamiatul Modarresin.

Several other guests will also speak at the event. They include the State Minister for Religious Affairs and Mr. Rafiqul Islam Jamal, MP, who is the chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Dr. Enamul Haque Chowdhury, Mufti Abul Hasan, MP, and Maulana Nurul Amin, MP, will speak too.

The Director General of the Islamic Foundation, Mufti Muhammad Muhibbullahil Baki Nadvi, will also give a speech. Mr. Md. Muhiuddin, a director of the Islamic Foundation, will speak as well.
