Avoid Gatherings Where There Is a Risk of Sin, Urges Sarsina Pir Saheb

The role of good company is crucial in shaping a person’s faith, deeds and moral character. Bad company and an unhealthy environment can lead people towards sin. Therefore, believers should avoid gatherings where there is a risk of becoming involved in sinful activities, urged Amir-e Hizbullah and Pir Saheb of Sarsina Darbar Sharif, Alhaj Hazrat Maulana Mufti Shah Abu Nasr Nesaruddin Ahmad Hussain (Mujaddidi).

He said that believers should prioritise the pleasure of Allah in their words, actions and behaviour. Every believer has a responsibility to stay away from environments filled with backbiting, lies, obscenity and wrongdoing. Good company strengthens faith and encourages righteous deeds, while bad company can lead to moral decline and spiritual harm.

Hazrat Pir Saheb Qibla further said that taking care of one’s own conduct and character was not enough; people must also remain mindful of their company and surroundings. Gatherings where there is a risk of becoming involved in sin or endorsing wrongdoing should be avoided as far as possible. He called for embracing good company and fostering environments enriched with the remembrance of Allah and righteous deeds to establish moral values in personal, family and social life.

He made these remarks at an Isale Sawab Mahfil organised at the Eidgah ground adjacent to Jangalia Cemetery in Jangalia, Louhajang upazila of Munshiganj district, on Friday (October 23), marking the arrival of the Pir Saheb of Sarsina Sharif.

Other speakers at the gathering included Maulana Md. Hemayet Bin Tayyeb, organising secretary of Bangladesh Jamiat-e Hizbullah; Maulana Md. Mamunul Haque, deputy director of Sarsina Darus Sunnat Jamia-e Nesariyya Deen; and Maulana Md. Mohebbullah Al Mahmud, a member of the Pir Saheb’s entourage, among others.

At the end of the gathering, Hazrat Pir Saheb Qibla led the concluding munajat (supplication), praying for peace and well-being in the country, the nation and the Muslim Ummah.
