Four new books approved for classes four and six

The National Curriculum Coordination Committee (NCCC) has approved four new textbooks for students of classes four and six for the 2027 academic year. It approved the books subject to necessary revisions.

The committee approved the books yesterday in two separate meetings at the International Mother Language Institute.

The two approved books for class four students are “Culture of Bangladesh” and “Sports.” For class six students, the committee approved “Learning with Happiness” and “My Technical Education” as new books.

Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Mr. A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon attended the class four meeting as chief guest. Primary and Mass Education State Minister Mr. Bobby Hajjaj and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Mr. Giyas Uddin attended as special guests.

Primary and Mass Education Ministry Secretary Ms. Jesmin Nahar chaired the meeting. Chief Information Commissioner Ms. Nahrin Islam Khan and Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Mr. Abu Abdullah M Saleh attended. Other members of the committee also attended.

Education Minister Mr. A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon also attended the separate meeting to approve the new class six textbooks as chief guest. Secondary and Higher Education Division Secretary Mr. Abdul Khaleque chaired that meeting.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Mr. Giyas Uddin attended this meeting as special guest. Chief Information Commissioner Ms. Nahrin Islam Khan and other members of the National Curriculum Coordination Committee also took part.
