SSC, Equivalent Results to Be Published Monday; How to Check
The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be released on Monday, August 10. Students will be able to access their results through the education boards’ websites and via SMS on mobile phones. The information was announced in a press release signed by Abdullah Shibli Sadik, Senior Information Officer of the Ministry of Education, on Thursday. According to the press release, candidates can check their results on the designated education board websites, eduboardresult.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd. They can also obtain their results by sending an SMS to 16140 from any mobile operator using the prescribed format.
How to Check Results via SMS:
- General Education Boards: Type SSC <space> first three letters of the board name <space> Roll Number <space> 2026 and send it to 16140.
- Madrasah Education Board: Type SSC <space> MAD <space> Roll Number <space> 2026 and send it to 16140.
- Technical Education Board: Type SSC <space> TEC <space> Roll Number <space> 2026 and send it to 16140.
Each SMS will cost Tk 1.39, including VAT and taxes.
This year’s SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21 and concluded on May 20. A total of 1,857,344 candidates from 11 education boards took part, including 930,305 male and 927,039 female candidates. Students from 30,666 educational institutions sat for the examinations at 3,885 centres across the country. According to board-wise statistics, 1,418,318 candidates appeared under the general education boards, 303,286 under the Madrasah Education Board (Dakhil), and 134,660 under the Technical Education Board.
