Hasan Forgives Bottle-Throwing Incident

Hasan, vocalist of renowned rock band Ark, was hit by a water bottle while performing at the “Borsha Biplober Gaan” event at Manik Mia Avenue on August 5, drawing criticism from Bangladesh’s music community and Bangladesh Musical Bands Association (BAMBA). While fellow artists demanded accountability, Hasan forgave those responsible and urged organisers to strengthen security. He said he held no resentment toward the audience and considered the incident minor. Organiser Monsoon Cultural Alliance apologised to Hasan, Ark and fans, saying crowds breached barricades despite three-tier security involving police, elite forces, bouncers and over 100 volunteers. Organisers continued the performance to avoid greater safety risks.
