SSC, equivalent results to be published today

The results of this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations will be published today at 10:00am. Students will be able to collect their results from the respective education boards’ websites, their institutions and through SMS. Professor Dr Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the matter on Saturday.He said the results would be available on the websites of all education boards from 10:00am. Results can also be obtained through two central websites. Students can also receive their results by SMS from any mobile operator. They need to type SSC, followed by the first three letters of their education board, their roll number and YEAR, and send the message to 16140.

For Dhaka Board students, the format is SSC DHA ROLL YEAR. Dakhil candidates under the Madrasa Education Board should send SSC MAD ROLL YEAR, while SSC (Vocational) candidates under the Technical Education Board should send SSC TEC ROLL YEAR to 16140. A total of 18,57,344 students filled out forms to sit for this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations. Of them, 14,18,398 appeared under the nine general education boards. The number of candidates under the Madrasa Education Board was 3,04,286, while 1,34,660 students participated in the SSC (Vocational) examination under the Technical Education Board.
