HSC Results May Be Published in Mid-November

According to Professor Akteruzzaman, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, the results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), Alim, and comparable exams should be released by mid-November. The countrywide exams began on July 2 under the same question paper system, with 1,270,583 registered candidates from all boards.

On August 8, theoretical exams for eight general education boards were completed, but the Chittagong Education Board’s timetable was thrown off by heavy floods. Exams were stopped from July 8 to July 26 in Chittagong, Khagrachhari, Bandarban, Rangamati, and Cox’s Bazar, delaying their completion until September 9.

Additionally, Begum Badrunnesa Government Women’s College will host an additional exam on August 24 for students who were unable to attend their July 13 exam because of severe weather, according to the Dhaka Education Board. All school boards are collaborating to complete the review process and fulfill the publishing deadline in mid-November, according to officials.
