PM calls for building peaceful country by following Prophet’s (S.) ideals

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has called for establishing justice and humanitarian values in personal, family, social and state life by following the ideals of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.), including peace, justice, compassion, forgiveness and humanity.

In a message on Tuesday marking Eid-e-Miladunnabi, he said following the Prophet’s life and teachings can help build a peaceful, just and welfare-oriented society.

The PM said the Prophet (S.) taught truth, justice, equality, brotherhood, humanity and peace, while emphasizing the rights of people regardless of race, caste, tribe, language or social status. He also stressed compassion toward orphans, the poor and disadvantaged, as well as protecting the rights of women, children, neighbours and marginalized people.

Noting the world’s ongoing wars, conflicts, violence, inequality and intolerance, the prime minister added that the Prophet’s(S.) teachings on peace, justice and humanity are highly relevant today. He also urged nurturing the younger generation with knowledge, creativity, morality, humanity and patriotism while keeping them away from drugs, terrorism, extremism and crime.

He extended greetings to Muslims in Bangladesh and around the world on the occasion and prayed for peace, justice, equality, prosperity and humanity across the world.
