Robots to Enter Battlefield After Dance and Music Stages! China’s Historic Plan

China has begun intensive preparations to deploy humanoid robots on the battlefield, potentially changing the familiar dynamics and strategies of warfare. Moving beyond entertainment and artificial intelligence demonstrations, Beijing is now seeking to transform these advanced technologies into military capabilities capable of striking enemy positions.

According to reports in international media, the recently held World Humanoid Robot Games in China sparked global attention with AI-powered humanoid robots demonstrating their abilities in running, boxing and speed. Soon after, China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) took notice. In its official media outlet, the PLA issued a special call to Chinese researchers to rapidly make the technology suitable for military use so that the robots could eventually become more effective on the battlefield than human soldiers.

According to defence experts, Chinese companies manufacture the majority of humanoid robots supplied to the global market. China’s dominant position in this technology could therefore add a new dimension to its military capabilities. Under preliminary plans, the robots could be used not only in direct combat but also for dangerous missions, gathering intelligence through surveillance, and transporting weapons and supplies.

Chinese military researchers believe that the direct presence of such robotic forces on modern battlefields could become a reality within the next five to 10 years. They believe this could reduce the risk of casualties among human soldiers while bringing major changes to military capabilities.
