Awliya’s duty is to connect people with Allah and His Messenger

- Pir Shaheb of Kagatia Says At Tariqat Conference
The Pir Shaheb of Kagatia Aliya Gawsul Azam Darbar Sharif in Chattogram, Allama Principal Shaykh Sayyid Morshede Azam, has said that connecting people with Allah and His Messenger is the duty of the Awliya-e-Kiram (the revered saints). In his address, he said women have no need to meet their pir or murshid in person. A true (haqqani) pir, through the power of his spiritual guardianship (wilayah), can create a glow of divine light in the hearts of his devoted followers (murids) even from a distance. The path followed by Allah and His Messenger is the only path to salvation. One whose heart lacks love for the Messenger does not have complete faith. Reciting durud with sincere devotion to the Prophet creates love for the Messenger in the heart. The Pir Shaheb said the central goal of tariqat (the Sufi path) is to shape one’s life with the afterlife in mind, seeking the nearness of Allah Almighty and the boundless love of the Prophet in every step of life. Allama Principal Shaykh Sayyid Morshede Azam, Pir Shaheb of Kagatia Aliya Gawsul Azam Darbar Sharif, made these remarks as chief guest addressing Muslims gathered at the historic Tariqat Conference held on Monday night at the Chattogram Jamiatul Falah National Mosque grounds.
