Prime Minister Departs for New York to Attend 81st UN General Assembly
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman left Dhaka for New York early Monday to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed his departure via a post on its verified Facebook page. He departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 5:45 AM, accompanied by his wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman.
A delegation comprising cabinet ministers, political leaders, and senior government officials is accompanying him on the visit.
