Bangladesh, Azerbaijan Sign Visa Exemption Agreement

Bangladesh and Azerbaijan have signed a visa exemption agreement for holders of diplomatic and official or government passports.

The two countries signed the agreement on Tuesday (September 22), New York local time, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Bangladesh Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman and Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov signed the visa exemption agreement for holders of diplomatic and official or government passports on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

It may be noted that Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman is serving as the President of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
