UAE Ambassador Pays Courtesy Call on Prime Minister
The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Bangladesh, Abdulla Ali AlHmoudi, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. During the meeting, discussions focused on bolstering bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including the expansion of trade and investment between the two nations.
The meeting took place on Monday, September 28, at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Bangladesh Secretariat. Discussions also encompassed enhancing employment opportunities for skilled Bangladeshi manpower, alongside expanding cooperation in energy, infrastructure, aviation, information technology, railway, and logistics sectors.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs-1 Humayun Kabir and Investment Bangladesh Authority Chairman Ashik Chowdhury were present during the call. Senior officials from the UAE Embassy also accompanied the Ambassador.
