Bangladesh’s Kate Jaro Khan at South Asia Conference

Kate Jaro Khan, Director of Trade and Public Diplomacy at Ireland’s Honorary Consulate in Bangladesh, participated in the South Asia Honorary Consuls Conference and Training held in Mumbai, India. Representatives of Ireland’s honorary consulates from several South Asian countries attended the conference, which was recently held at Ireland House in Mumbai.

Participants exchanged their experiences and views and discussed opportunities to further strengthen Ireland’s activities across the region. The conference served as an important platform to enhance communication and cooperation among Ireland’s representatives in South Asia. Participants also discussed possible initiatives to strengthen Ireland’s regional engagement.

Through her participation, Kate Jaro Khan represented Bangladesh in Ireland’s activities across South Asia. Such regional events provide opportunities for honorary consulates from different countries to strengthen communication and share experiences.
