Gas Supply to be Cut in Parts of Dhaka from Saturday Afternoon
Gas supply will remain suspended in several areas of the capital, Dhaka, from Saturday afternoon to evening due to emergency pipeline repair work, Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited has announced. The gas distribution authority issued a press release on Friday detailing the planned outage. According to the press release, emergency leakage repair work on the pipeline will cause the interruption.
The notice stated that gas supply to all categories of customers on both sides of the road from Nadda, Kalachandpur, Bashundhara, Joar Sahara, Vatara, and Baridhara Block-J to Kuril Bishwa Road, as well as adjacent areas, will remain shut off from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday. Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited expressed sincere regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to its customers.
