Greeting Worshippers After Entering a Mosque

Question: After entering a mosque upon reciting the supplication for entering the mosque, is it permissible to greet the worshippers present there? Many people may be praying in the mosque. What should one do after entering the mosque in such a situation?

Answer: One may greet worshippers nearby in a low voice that does not disturb those who are praying. There is no restriction on greeting worshippers who are not engaged in prayer after entering the mosque.
