Islamic Governance Is Essential For Protecting Rights And Ensuring Progress

Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, the Ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh and the Pir of Charmonai, has stated that an Islamic governance system is now the only alternative to protect public rights and achieve overall progress, asserting that solely an Islamic social system can elevate the country to the pinnacle of desired development.

He made these remarks as the chief guest at a grassroots representative rally organized by the Lalmonirhat district branch of Islami Andolan Bangladesh at the Zilla Parishad Auditorium on Friday night. Remarking that the country has failed to achieve its desired development even after 55 years of independence, the Pir of Charmonai said that instead of development, the nation has repeatedly become a champion in corruption, severely damaging the country’s image on the global stage.

Mufti Rezaul Karim stated that the people of the country have witnessed the rule of all conventional political parties at various times in the past, and all of them have proven to be utter failures in running the country. Protecting public rights and achieving overall progress now leaves no alternative to an Islamic governance system, as only an Islamic social order can take the nation to the peak of expected development.

The rally was presided over by Hafez Mohammad Azaharul Islam, president of the Lalmonirhat district branch of Islami Andolan Bangladesh. Leaders and activists from various grassroots units of the district and upazilas participated in the event.
