Regarding the Halal Status of a Salary Obtained by Paying for a Job
Question: If a job is obtained for money, is the salary earned from that job halal (permissible) or haram (impermissible)?

Answer: The salary can be halal. However, offering a bribe is a distinct sin in itself. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, ‘The bribe-giver, the bribe-taker, and the mediator between them are all destined for Hell’.
