Netanyahu Staged ‘False Flag’ Aircraft Drama

Iranian state-run media outlet Press TV has leveled dramatic allegations, claiming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu staged a false flag hijack attempt aboard a UAE aircraft in an effort to drag the United States into a new war against Iran. Citing an unnamed well-informed regional source, the report asserted that the mid-air emergency aboard Flydubai Flight FZ1073 was part of a far-reaching plot drafted during a regional military exercise attended by Arab officials, designed to ultimately lay the blame on Tehran.

According to Press TV’s source, Mr. Netanyahu made a secret visit to the UAE three days before the incident alongside senior military and intelligence officials to finalize the blueprint for the operation. The outlet reported that the prime minister resorted to this scheme out of fear over a potential political collapse within his coalition ahead of domestic parliamentary elections. The overarching objective of the alleged conspiracy was to provoke US President Donald Trump into launching a direct military conflict against Iran, though Press TV provided no concrete evidence to substantiate these claims.

The underlying flight incident occurred aboard Flydubai Flight FZ1073, carrying 174 passengers from Dubai to Tel Aviv on Wednesday, which was forced to make an emergency diversion to Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Flydubai issued an official statement attributing the rerouting to an in-flight altercation and conflict inside the cockpit, confirming that the flight crew safely landed the aircraft. Airport officials reported that both the captain and first officer sustained injuries during the scuffle and were immediately hospitalized, while all passengers remained safe.

Official investigations have been initiated by Saudi Arabia’s National Transport Safety Center to determine the exact cause behind the cockpit altercation that forced the sudden landing. In response to the crisis, Flydubai announced that it has temporarily suspended all flights to Israel pending the outcome of the probe. Meanwhile, neither Israel, the United Arab Emirates, nor the United States has issued any formal statement or response regarding the sensational allegations published by the Iranian state broadcaster.
