Biman to Resume Riyadh Flights on October 25, Dammam Flights Today

Biman Bangladesh Airlines will resume flights to Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia. The airline will operate one flight to Riyadh on October 25, while regular flights to Dammam will resume on Thursday (October 22).
Biman announced the decision in a press release on Wednesday evening.
According to the press release, a flight will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka for Riyadh at 1:25am on October 26. The decision was taken following an improvement in the situation at Saudi airports after Houthi attacks. Biman will decide on subsequent Riyadh flights after reviewing the situation.
From October 22 to 26, Biman will operate daily flights from Dhaka to Dammam at 8:00am using Boeing 777 aircraft.
Flights to Jeddah will also continue. Biman will operate two flights from Dhaka to Jeddah on October 22. One flight will depart for Jeddah at 7:20pm each day on October 23, 24 and 25.
Regular flights to Madinah are also operating using Boeing 787 aircraft. The schedule will remain unchanged until further notice.
Biman has asked passengers to contact their nearest sales centre for ticket purchases, bookings and travel-related information.
Earlier this month, flights were disrupted following a Houthi missile attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. At least 14 people, including two Bangladeshis, were reported killed in the attack.
Following the incident, Biman cancelled its Dhaka–Riyadh flight scheduled for October 10. Flights to Dammam were also suspended later.
