Janata Bank and Bengal Commercial Bank websites shut amid the fear of cyber attack
The websites of Janata Bank and Bengal Commercial Bank are closed. The two banks have kept their websites shut for fear of a cyber attack. As a result, no one can enter the websites of the two banks. Customers cannot take any service through the websites, and no information is available either.
Around 12:30 pm yesterday, a notice appeared when someone tried to enter the Janata Bank website. The notice said the application is now under scheduled maintenance. It said the site will start again soon. It also said the bank is sorry for the trouble, and it was signed by Janata Bank PLC. The website did not open even after several more tries.
