A society without discrimination is possible only by establishing Islam: Mamunul Haque

Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis Amir Mr. Maulana Mamunul Haque has said a society without discrimination is possible only by making Islam victorious. He said slogans alone cannot build such a society. He said the country must establish justice and fairness. He said people will enjoy the benefits only when the justice, equality and beauty of Islam take hold.
Mr. Haque said this yesterday afternoon as chief guest at a Seerat Conference. The Malaysia branch of Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis organised the conference at the Lembaga Gateway Asli hall room in Klang, Malaysia.
Mr. Haque said one of the most important lessons from the 23 years of prophetic life of Rasulullah (peace be upon him) is to establish justice, along with teaching and inviting people to the religion. He said Rasulullah (peace be upon him) kept up his call in Makkah for 13 long years despite facing torture. Later in Madinah, he set an example of ensuring the rights, dignity and freedom of people by building an Islamic society.
He said removing all kinds of discrimination and injustice from the world, and establishing justice and fairness, is one of the main reasons the prophets came. So people must resist oppression and discrimination wherever they see it. He said helping an oppressor means stopping his oppression. Helping the oppressed means standing by them to protect their rights.
Speaking about the mass uprising of 2024, the Amir said many people gave their lives in the hope of a Bangladesh without discrimination. He said countless families lost their children. He said the slogan of no discrimination is not enough to meet the goal of this sacrifice. The country needs a system built on justice.
He also said personalities like Haji Shariatullah, Titumir and Maulana Karamat Ali Jaunpuri fought against domination in the history of Bangladesh. He said everyone must work together in that historic line to build a just society.
Stressing the role of expatriate Bangladeshis, he said they make an important contribution to the economy and progress of the country. He said they also played a role in different ways during the 2024 mass uprising. He said their organised strength and joint efforts can play an important role in changing the country.
Mr. Haque called on Bangladeshis living in Malaysia to unite under the banner of Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis. He also asked them to become members and work in an orderly way. He asked them to take joint steps to strengthen the work of the organisation at home and abroad.
Malaysia branch President Mr. Mufti Taki Ullah chaired the conference. General Secretary Mr. Maulana Habibur Rahman Kausar moderated it. The special guests were the organisation’s Secretary General Mr. Maulana Jalaluddin Ahmad, Member of Parliament Mr. Mufti Muhammadullah and Central Organising Secretary Mr. Maulana Muhammad Faisal. Leaders and workers of the organisation from different states of Malaysia and expatriate Bangladeshis took part.
