Prime Minister Tarique Rahman Holds Summit Talks with Japanese PM

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has held a summit meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. The bilateral summit began this morning, local time, at the Japanese prime minister’s office.

Earlier, at 11:30 am local time, Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi warmly welcomed PM Tarique Rahman upon his arrival at her office. He was accorded a red-carpet reception and a guard of honour.

After receiving the guard of honour, the two prime ministers held formal summit talks with their respective delegations. The discussions covered bilateral relations, trade and investment, development cooperation, and other issues of mutual interest to the two countries.
