Energy Minister Assures Normal Gas Supply Within Two to Three days

Gas supply across the country is expected to return to normal within the next two to three days, said Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Iqbal Hassan Mahmood Tuku.

Speaking to reporters at the Secretariat on Thursday, the minister said, “The freezing is still going on and once it is over, gas circulation will resume this afternoon.”

He further said, “Once circulation begins, the areas where pressure has dropped will gradually improve. We will be able to carry out extraction in line with the challenges we are currently facing,”

In response to a question, the Energy Minister replied, “It will take at least two to three days for the gas supply to return to normal. It will be the same as it was before the shutdown.”
