Six Police Officers Including Biplab Kumar Dismissed

The government has dismissed six police officers, including former Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Joint Commissioner Biplab Kumar Sarkar and DMP Assistant Police Commissioner Mohammad Golam Ruhani, the younger brother of former Chhatra League general secretary Golam Rabbani. The dismissed officers are Biplab Kumar Sarkar, Sudip Kumar Chakraborty, Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, Kazi Ashraful Azim, Rajan Kumar Das and Mohammad Golam Ruhani. They were serving at different offices under the Barishal, Khulna and Chattogram ranges, as well as the DMP and Cox’s Bazar Armed Police Battalion.
