Qatari Emir’s Congratulations to President Mirza Fakhrul

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the emir of Qatar, congratulated Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on taking the oath of office as Bangladesh’s president. The Emir of Qatar congratulated President Mirza Fakhrul and wished him well in carrying out his responsibilities as head of state. Sheikh Tamim expressed optimism that in the days ahead, ties between Bangladesh and Qatar will be further developed and reinforced. Notably, on August 20, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was chosen to be Bangladesh’s 23rd president. On Friday, he took the oath of office.
