In the A2 division of the International Hifzul Quran Competition 2026, held in Bolton, Manchester by Habibul Quran UK, Hafiz Sheik Saad Muhammad Nur placed third. During the five-day tournament, which took place in the famous Zakariya Jame Masjid from August 26 to August 30, he competed against 110 contestants from all over the world and impressed the judges with his remarkable and melodic recitation. The accomplished young scholar is a brilliant Kitab department student at Markazu Faizil Quran Al-Islami Dhaka, a renowned Islamic educational institution located in Mirpur-1, the capital of Dhaka. Having already developed world-conquering talents like Hafiz Saleh Ahmed Takrim, Muaz Mahmud, and Anas Mahfuz, who achieved top places in contests across Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Iran, and Turkey, this institution is widely recognized for its persistent success in international arenas. The nation’s new generation of Quran scholars is greatly inspired by Hafiz Saad’s most recent victory, which enhances this historic run of achievement.

Mufti Murtaza Hasan Faizi Masum, the founding principal of Markazu Faizil Quran, expressed great happiness at this outstanding accomplishment, saying, ‘Alhamdulillah, we express our gratitude to Almighty Allah for Saad Nur’s success. This accomplishment is not only Saad Nur’s, but Bangladesh as a whole.’ He further emphasized that their primary institutional goal is to teach students the genuine values of the Quran so they may effectively represent the country abroad and contribute to the creation of a peaceful, Quranic world.
