Iran Strikes US Bases in Kuwait, UAE, Damages Satellite Systems and Fighter Jet Hangars

Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, Iran has launched long-range missile and drone attacks on US military bases in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Iranian Army said the attacks were carried out in the 31st phase of “Operation Saeqeh” (Thunder) by the country’s armed forces.
According to a statement from the Iranian Army’s Public Relations Office published by semi-official Tasnim News Agency, the attacks targeted key US satellite communications systems, equipment depots and fighter jet hangars at Kuwait’s Ahmad Al-Jaber Air Base. The Iranian Army said US communications systems and aircraft hangars were severely damaged. Iran claimed that the air base has served as one of the main hubs for US aerial surveillance and military operations in the Middle East.
At the same time, Iran targeted foreign troops deployed at Al Minhad Air Base in the UAE, as well as radar systems there. According to Tehran, the base is critically important for the air mobility and logistical support of foreign armed forces.
The Iranian Army said the strikes were carried out in retaliation for recent US attacks on members of its armed forces. It also warned that any future attack would be met with an “even harsher and more destructive” response, vowing to continue the resistance “until final victory is achieved.”
