Prime Minister to Gift Homes to Slain Jubo Dal Leader’s Family and Another Victim

A new home is being gifted by BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to the family of a Feni Jubo Dal leader killed in police firing and to a helpless family in Chauddagram, Cumilla, whose home was damaged by arson.
Today, Sunday, BNP Acting Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi will formally hand over the keys to the new homes to the affected families on behalf of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
The information was disclosed in a press release issued on Saturday by agriculturist Moksedul Momen Mithun, member secretary of “Amra BNP Paribar.”
The homes were built for the affected families on the personal initiative and instructions of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, who is the chief patron of “Amra BNP Paribar.”
The recipients are Shaheed Harun, a Jubo Dal leader from Feni who was killed in police firing, and a helpless family in Chauddagram, Cumilla, whose home was burned down in an arson attack.
At today’s key handover ceremony, Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, BNP Acting Secretary General, political adviser to the prime minister and chief adviser of “Amra BNP Paribar,” will attend as the chief guest on behalf of the prime minister. He will formally hand over the keys to the newly built homes to the family members.
The initiative is part of the ongoing activities of “Amra BNP Paribar” to stand beside affected and persecuted party activists as well as helpless people.
