Actor Don arrested in Salman Shah murder case

Actor Ashraful Haque Don had been arrested by immigration authorities at the airport on Sunday in connection with the well-known murder case of renowned Bangla movie star Salman Shah. Police immediately turned him over to a team from the Criminal Investigation Department after arresting him. The CID is currently in charge of the investigation into the reopened legal procedures, which has brought one of the most talked-about historical cases in the nation back into the public eye.

The long-running mystery surrounding the well-known actor’s untimely death has undergone a significant shift with this arrest. Salman Shah’s heartbroken family and loyal admirers completely disagreed with the Police Bureau of Investigation’s initial conclusion that the death was a suicide. His maternal uncle filed a new murder complaint at Ramna Police Station last year in response to an official court order. Eleven suspects are named in the complaint, including his ex-wife Samira Haque and the recently arrested actor Don. This keeps the fight for justice going after almost thirty years of uncertainty and extensive court cases.
