Former U.S. President Joe Biden’s cancer has spread further, according to his son, Mr. Hunter Biden, in an interview with the BBC. Mr. Biden revealed in May 2025 that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and that the disease had already spread to his bones. The cancer was described as an aggressive form. Mr. Hunter Biden said the illness has been “very painful” and physically debilitating. However, he added that former President Biden remains active, continues his daily activities, and remains optimistic about the future of the United States. A spokesperson for the 83-year-old Democrat declined to comment on Mr. Hunter Biden’s remarks. Questions about Biden’s health had persisted throughout his presidency and during his 2024 re-election campaign before he withdrew from the race following mounting pressure within his party.
