A day-long job fair featuring around 70 leading national organisations is scheduled to take place on October 27 at the Birampur Degree College ground in Birampur, Dinajpur. Birampur Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mst. Tanjina Khatun confirmed the event on Thursday afternoon, October 22, stating that the primary objective is to create employment opportunities for educated unemployed youth in rural areas and connect local talent with corporate entities. Job seekers will have direct access to company representatives, enabling them to explore employment prospects, gather application information, and apply for available positions on site.
Organised under the initiative of Professor Dr. A Z M Zahid Hossain, Member of Parliament for Dinajpur-6 and Minister for Social Welfare, the fair aims to expand suburban employment opportunities and integrate regional talent into the mainstream economy. The Minister personally inspected the venue on Wednesday to evaluate stall setups, security measures, and transportation arrangements, issuing key instructions to ensure a seamless execution.
