Evil Forces Were Defeated in the Sepoy-People’s Revolution: Prime Minister

The anti-liberation forces opposing the country’s independence and sovereignty were defeated through the historic Soldiers-People Revolution of November 7, 1975, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has said.
He made the remarks while attending an event at the Army Stadium in Banani, Dhaka, on Saturday (November 7), marking the historic November 7 National Revolution and Solidarity Day.
He said the historic significance of November 7 would remain an important part of Bangladesh’s history. If the nation remained united in the spirit of November 7, Bangladesh would never lose its way again.
Earlier, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman attended a parade at the Army Stadium in Banani at around 9:30 am on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day. His Assistant Press Secretary, Shahriar Pamir, confirmed the matter.
He said 3,000 cadets from the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) and 500 members of Bangladesh Scouts took part in a special display at the event, organised under the direction of the Ministry of Defence and under the supervision of the armed forces.
