Hamza’s Jersey Auction to Support Gaza Children

Bangladesh national footballer Hamza Choudhury is taking part in a humanitarian initiative to support children affected by the conflict in Gaza. The footballer, who represents Bangladesh on the field, has joined a charity event in London organised to raise funds for children in Gaza. The event will be held in Whitechapel on October 25 and is being organised by Nujum Sports, a platform for Muslim athletes.
A jersey signed by Hamza will be among various sports memorabilia offered at the auction. Jerseys and medals signed by other Muslim athletes, along with memorabilia donated by sports personalities, will also be auctioned. Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak directly with Hamza and other special guests.
According to the organisers, all proceeds from ticket sales and the auction will be donated to the charity Children Not Numbers. The organisation provides humanitarian aid, medical support and rehabilitation services for children in Gaza.
This is not Mr. Hamza’s first humanitarian initiative. After winning the FA Cup with Leicester City in 2021, he celebrated with teammate Wesley Fofana while holding a Palestinian flag. This time, the Bangladesh star is using his public profile and football memorabilia to help raise funds for children in Gaza.
